Kerry North and her daughter Maicey moved to AZ from IL in 2017 after her daughter graduated High School. Her daughter moved back to IL after one year at GCU but Kerry felt the Lord called her to be here and has remained ever since. Kerry gave her life to Christ in 2004 when her daughter was 5 and she quickly jumped into serving in the church and growing in her faith. While working in the marketplace as a hairdresser, Kerry continued to raise her daughter while volunteering as a leader in AWANA, ushering, prayer team, teaching 2nd-6th grade kids church and various annual family outreaches. While she was not raised in a practicing Christian home, she was often drawn to the 10 Commandments on the wall and clearly remembers calling out to the Lord in the 4th grade; she has felt the Lord’s hand and pursuit on her life in many ways since then. Knowing God met her when she was young, drives her passion to work with kids so they can develop their own relationship with Him in a safe and fun environment. Whether as a big sister, mother, aunt or mentor, there has seldom been a time where Kerry has not naturally taken a role as a motherly teacher. She is excited to come alongside the kiddos at 2RC, as the Children’s Director, and encourage them in who they are called to be.
